Classical Conversations, Tutor Scripts weeks 2-4

Prep Sketch for Catherine's Pascha from my sketchbook.

Prep Sketch for Catherine’s Pascha from my sketchbook.

Here are scripts for week 2 (“mirror image”),  week 3 (“upside down drawing”)  and week 4 (“abstract art”).

Week 5’s “perspective” is taking longer,  just because the word “perspective” covers a very large field.  And since I’m trying to prep scripts for everyone from the four year old first year student through the twelve year old “this is my ninth time doing this and I could enjoy a challenge”, it’s taking a lot of tinkering.

So that’s coming, but in the meantime, I hope you like these, and you find them useful and interesting!

If you have any suggestions, let me know via comments, e-mail, or fb.  I’m on the CC official feed and the Tutors and Subs for Foundations feed.  I’d love to hear from you!

Week 2 Tutorial, Mirror Image

Week 3 Tutorial, Upside Down Image

Week 4 Tutorial, Abstract Art.

I’ll be at the Noblesville Indiana Practicum the first week of August!  Can’t wait!

You haven’t missed them. They are still coming. Part of the challenge with 5 & 6 has been finding ways to teach perspective and abstract art to the Foundations kids, but those two scripts will be coming soon.
